Sentenced 15-year-old previously unconvicted teenager, who was accused of knowingly false reports of danger, told the correspondent of the Agency “Minsk-Novosti” in the Prosecutor’s office of the Lenin district.

The young man during the walk quarreled with the company of children, held a grudge and figured out how to take revenge on them. In the next two days, from his mobile phone, he sent on behalf of the offenders emails that explosives were in the capital’s school and gymnasium.
Law enforcement officers quickly identified the attacker, a criminal case was opened against him. The teenager fully admitted his guilt, sincerely repented of what he had done.
- The accused is studying in the first year of one of the capital's colleges, has not previously been brought to criminal and administrative responsibility, is characterized satisfactorily. His parents reimbursed the costs of involving police officers and the Investigative Committee on Disposal and Investigative Actions on false reports of impending explosions, commented Valentina Khatskevich, senior assistant prosecutor of the Leninsky district, who acted on this criminal case as a state prosecutor. The court found him guilty of committing crimes under Part 1 and Part 2 of Art. 340 of the Criminal Code (“knowingly false message of danger”), and imposed a final punishment in the form of one year of restriction of freedom without sending him to an open-type correctional institution.
On the basis of Part 1 of Art. 46-1 of the Criminal Code, the mobile phone of the accused was confiscated into the state income.
