XXX Belarusian Energy and Environmental Forum Energy Expo 2026

On October 27, the XXX Belarusian Energy and Environmental Forum Energy Expo 2026 started in Minsk International Exhibition Center. The large-scale event, which will last until October 30, brought together more than 200 companies and organizations from nine countries, the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti news agency reports.

The expositions are located on an area of 10 thousand square meters, and 30 scientific and practical conferences, seminars and round tables are planned within the framework of eight thematic sections. About 40,000 people are expected to attend the forum.

At the opening of the plenary session “Developing Energy – Developing the Economy”, the Minister of Energy of Belarus Vadim Moroz stressed that the anniversary forum is an opportunity to evaluate the 30-year path of the industry and form an action program for the future. Deputy Prime Minister Viktor Karankevich noted the key role of the energy system in the country's economy.

The main event of recent years, he called the commissioning of the Belarusian nuclear power plant, which has already generated more than 69 billion kWh of electricity. This allowed to replace about 18 billion cubic meters of gas and provide up to 40% of the country's electricity needs. The Deputy Prime Minister also focused on the development of electric transport: pilot projects in Zhodino, Shklov and Novopolotsk, as well as the launch of an electric bus service between Minsk and the satellite cities of Smolevich and Fanipol.

Within the framework of the forum, exhibitions "Energy" will be held. Ecology. Energy saving. Electro, the salon of innovative transport E-Trans, as well as specialized sections devoted to nuclear energy, petrochemistry and ecology. The business program includes 40 events where experts will discuss the digitalization of the fuel and energy complex, the use of artificial intelligence and energy security.

Youth Day will be held on October 28 with a dialogue “100 questions to energy”, and October 30 – the Day of Young Energy. Also in the program are the Startup ENERGY-2026 and the Installation Championship competitions aimed at popularizing engineering professions.
