In Minsk, there are gatherings with the leadership of the territorial defense management bodies and representatives of law enforcement agencies, BelTA reports.

The training program includes demonstration classes with officials in the order of equipment of the checkpoint, demonstration of the object of territorial defense and a platoon stronghold. An exhibition of equipment and weapons is also organized.

According to Deputy Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee Alexander Chernikov, such classes have become planned. “In order to ensure, if necessary, the defense of the city, we need to understand the interaction of the various bodies, security structures and thermodefense forces. An equally important point is to increase the effectiveness of this interaction, he said.

According to the head of the administration of the Zavodsky district Vladimir Shibeko, the issues of preparation of territorial defense are of paramount importance. “Fire training is equally important. For the representatives of the thermodefense participating in the trainings, it is also an opportunity to update the knowledge and existing skills that they received in military service, as well as add new ones. Nothing stands still, there are new means of protection, types of weapons, technologies, including those used on the territory of other states, said Vladimir Shibeko.
