Student Media Forum “Union State: Media Vector for the Future” started in Mogilev
Today, on October 6, the III Belarusian-Russian student media forum “The Union State: Media Vector for the Future” started in Mogilev.

Today, October 6, the III Belarusian-Russian Student Media Forum “The Union State: Media Vector for the Future” was launched in Mogilev, the main platform of which was the Belarusian-Russian University.

The forum was attended by more than 100 people who for several days will communicate with speakers and experts, work in creative groups, create and present their projects.
Among them is a third-year student of the Belarusian State University of Food and Chemical Technologies Juliana Surba:
The forum is interesting in terms of organization and format. After all, it gives us the opportunity to meet children from other Belarusian and Russian universities. This is a new experience, new connections, team spirit. We are different, but in many ways very similar, and the forum once again shows how many common interests between us.
Universities are conductors of public diplomacy, an environment that allows us to make our international projects stronger and more thorough, said Denis Dvornikov, Acting Rector of Vologda State University. I hope that we will establish links for future joint projects at the forum. Our university is actively developing, we become a platform for very different events dedicated to technical development, humanitarian orientation, being on the frontier of topical topics.
Representatives of Vologda State University became participants of the media forum for the first time, and the Belarusian-Russian University in Mogilev is not just a participant, but a host. As noted by BRU Rector Mikhail Lustenkov, the mission of the Belarusian-Russian University is unification and integration:
- The issue of forming a relevant media policy is acute. Each university forms its own policy, each has young, bright, active people working in the media - we also have our own media center. It is important to determine the vector, to understand what is most relevant and in demand today, what are the forms of submission, how they change. I recall last year’s forum, when it was about countering falsifications. Today, we see how artificial intelligence is actively used in the work. I think this will be discussed a lot during the forum.
The current forum is devoted to the dialogue of cultures, through which, according to Mikhail Lustenkov, it is possible to find new points of contact and build communication.
Culture is our genetic code. Art, music, literature, traditions are what unites us. A red thread in the discussions will be the theme of victory in the Great Patriotic War, which finds a response among young people, said the rector of the BRU.
The media forum in Mogilev will be held for three days. During this time, its participants will be able to identify the most relevant and exciting topics, discuss new formats and options for their submission, new approaches to student media. At the same time, you will get acquainted with the sights of Mogilev and the region.
