In the monastery in Old Ladoga met representatives of Regardie and clergy
On the territory of the Old Ladoga Nikolsky Monastery, a working meeting was held between representatives of the North-Western District of Regardie and the Russian Orthodox Church. The participants discussed many years of experience in cooperation, spiritual and moral education of personnel and patriotic work. They also talked about further joint work, including the organization of events, information coverage, the press service of the Russian Guards told.

The cooperation of Regardie and the Old Ladoga Nikolsky Monastery has a long history. The monastic brethren participate in the spiritual care of the personnel of the GU Regardie. The abbot of the monastery, hegumen Filaret, was awarded a medal for his contribution to the spiritual and moral care of employees. On the territory of the monastery, memorial services are held in honor of the employees of the non-departmental security who died in the performance of their official duty.
Earlier, “MK in Leningrad region” said that in the military town in Kamenka consecrated the beginning of the construction of the chapel. It will be a place of prayer for soldiers. Inside, they plan to place memorial plaques with the names of dead comrades.
