Friday, October 9, became the warmest day of the week in Moscow. This was announced by the head of short-term weather forecasts of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia Alexander Golubev in an interview with RIA Novosti. The air temperature in the capital rose to 16.6 degrees Celsius.
“At the moment, the temperature has reached plus 16.6 degrees. The temperature is still rising a little and, possibly, will reach plus 17 degrees, the weather forecaster said.
Golubev noted that residents of the capital should not wait for a repetition of such high temperatures in October. In the coming days, a cold snap will begin in the city. Forecasters predict a further decrease in temperature indicators.
October in Moscow is usually characterized by a gradual decrease in temperature. Average temperatures this month often fall below zero by the end of the period.
