In Murmansk, 60% of the housing stock has been processed from rats

In Murmansk, work on rat control has already been carried out at 437 facilities. This was reported by the head of the city Ivan Lebedev.

Processing is carried out in all districts of the city. Management organizations, associations of homeowners, housing-building and garage-building cooperatives, owners of commercial facilities, resource-supplying organizations and entrepreneurs were recommended to process their facilities and adjacent territories until November 10.

Work has already been completed at 437 sites. In the housing stock, deratization was carried out in 60 percent of apartment buildings.

Public spaces are treated as well. In the park on Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya Street, in the park on Leningradskaya and in the Polarnaya Alley, everything has already been done.

Earlier, “MK in Murmansk” said that in Murmansk residents were frightened by freely walking rats at the playground.
