The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia recommends to immediately interrupt telephone conversations with people who pose as law enforcement officers and report about a loan or a threat to bank accounts.

The materials of the department emphasize that if the caller declares that the accounts are under threat or someone is trying to take a loan, this fraud and the conversation should be stopped immediately.

The Interior Ministry also reminded that fraudsters can pose as employees of a mobile operator or banks, and advised not to continue such conversations.

Earlier it was reported that the Russians were warned about “holiday payments” from fraudsters.
