In Mytishchi cleared the shore of the canal named after Moscow from accumulated over the summer garbage

In the area of the village of Kapustino in the city district of Mytishchi, an ecological Saturday was held on the banks of the Moscow Canal. Residents and volunteers collected plastic, glass and other household waste accumulated during the warm season.

Cleaning took place within the framework of the all-Russian action “Water of Russia”. She was joined by employees of the Department of ecology, representatives of the FGBI "Canal named after Moscow" and residents of the cottage village. Participants were given the necessary equipment, and the main attention was paid to sections of the coastline, where during the summer months a lot of debris accumulated.

As noted by the Director of the Department of ecology Alexey Korolev, the amount of work was significant: in some areas formed whole accumulations of waste. Collected plastic and glass containers, as well as other household garbage were removed from the coastal territory.
