In MHC told whether the cost of rental housing will change

Lower rates for public rental housing need to be reviewed. About this on the air of the TV channel “Belarus 1” said Deputy Minister of housing and communal services Andrei Romashko, reports sb.by.

The cost of rental housing in Belarus, as a rule, is 60-70% of the market. However, in a number of regions, in particular in Vitebsk and Grodno, as well as in small settlements, this figure can drop to 50% of the cost of private housing.

“There is a slight imbalance. Therefore, these reductions need to be revised on the basis of demand for commercial housing and the supply of private owners. The cost and coefficients should be constantly changed by the decisions of the regional executive committees, Andrei Romashko explained.

The relevant recommendations have already been sent to the regions to analyze the situation and eliminate obvious deviations where necessary.
