In the National Museum of Kalmykia for students held a sightseeing tour

The National Museum named after N. N. Palmov held a sightseeing tour for students of the Faculty of Management and Law of B. B. Gorodovikov Kalmyk State University.

For students of the 1st year of the training areas “State and Municipal Administration”, “Jurisprudence” and the specialty “Judicial and Prosecutor’s Activities”, the excursion became not just an acquaintance with the past, but an opportunity to get systematic knowledge about the cultural heritage of the republic, to establish a link between historical events and modernity.

The halls contain exhibits of different eras and cultures, and its interiors clearly show the features of the traditional life of the Kalmyks, their life and main occupations.

Unique archaeological finds, household items, weapons, documentary evidence and works of art are of particular value - together they form a large-scale picture of the historical and ethnographic heritage of Kalmykia.
