In NAO received a new batch of influenza vaccine for children

Since the beginning of the week, the Nenets Autonomous Okrug has received 3,000 doses of the Ultrix Quadri influenza vaccine for children. Health promotion activities, including influenza vaccination, are implemented within the framework of the national project “Long and active life”.

According to the NAO Department of Health, 6,958 people have been vaccinated against influenza so far, including 4,727 adults and 2,231 children.

Experts recall that vaccination helps reduce the risk of severe disease and the development of complications. This protection is especially important for children, the elderly, pregnant women and citizens with chronic diseases.

Residents of the district are advised to discuss the possibility of getting vaccinated with their doctor and not postpone health care. Vaccination is carried out free of charge within the framework of the National Calendar of Preventive Vaccinations.
