In NAO held the annual action “Day of the recruit”

The NAO held the annual action “Day of the conscript”. The event was attended by young people who are subject to military service in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

A welcoming speech to the future defenders of the Fatherland was addressed by Vice-Speaker of the District Assembly of Deputies Yevgeny Shestakov. He stressed that conscripts are entering a new, more responsible stage of life, and wished that the service taught them to appreciate the peaceful sky and the strength of brotherhood, and the army life tempered physically and morally.

“I want to learn new skills, become more motivated and come home strong and mature. Go ahead boldly. The Nenets Autonomous Okrug and the whole of Russia are behind you, the parliamentarian said.

The action “Conscription Day” was organized by the Regional Center for Youth Policy and Military-Patriotic Education of Youth in cooperation with the Military Commissariat of the NAO. It is designed to increase the prestige of military service and support conscripts.
