A warm evening-meeting, which united the descendants of the Chuprov family from the village of Ust-Tsilma of the Komi Republic and living in Naryan-Mar, gathered many participants. The long autumn rain outside the window contributed to the emotional atmosphere and pleasant memories.
For an hour and a half I did not tell about all the representatives of the family, I remembered only some moments. For example, about the defenders of the Fatherland, participants in local wars, about some traditions of the family, such as having many children, or doing agricultural affairs together, and then organizing a common meal.
The initiator of the evening was Victoria Alexeyevna Bobrova. She studies the pedigree of a kind and has already achieved considerable results. I wanted to talk about interesting facts of the life of ancestors, for example, about the fate of the peasant deputy Ivan Andreevich Chuprov, who in the time of Catherine II took part in a special commission to develop the laws of the Empire. Or about the creative talents of descendants along the line of the famous narrator of epics on Pechora Yeremey Provich Chuprov. This is Ekaterina Pavlovna Mikheeva, who sings epics; Zoya Fyodorovna Chuprova, in whose repertoire there are old songs, epics, and also funny stories. Victoria Alekseevna Bobrova writes stories, including about her grandfather. Bright creative numbers of the descendants of the Chuprov family decorated the evening.
During the meeting there were additions, memories, clarifications. As Viktoria Bobrova noted, collecting as much information as possible about the genus was one of the goals of this event.
