The National School of Beauty presented evening and national images in which the winner of the title “Lady Belarus – 2025” Margarita Mascaliene will represent the country at the 49th International contest “Mrs. Universe”.

The prestigious beauty contest will be held from October 18 to 26 in Colombo, Sri Lanka and will bring together about 120 participants from around the world. According to the director of the National School of Beauty Bozhena Eremich, the preparation for it includes master classes in fashion, hairdressing, acting and makeup. Designers and stylists worked on every detail in the images of Margarita for a long time.

It is honorable for us that Belarus will be represented by the mother of many children Margarita, who is the embodiment of femininity, motherhood and home. She put a lot of effort into improving the English language, which is very important for the international competition. I am sure she will represent our country well. We will wait for the results and hope for victory, said Bozhena Yeremich.

Margarita Mascaliene presented images in which she will shine at the world competition. The main highlight will be evening and national outfits that reflect the character, grace and beauty of the participant.

For the national exit, she sewed a white suit of natural silk with burgundy national embroidery. It combines traditional motifs with modern style. The main symbol of the outfit is the tree of life embroidered on the back and an imitation of the Slutsk belt. In the Year of the Belarusian woman, as a mother of four children, I took as the basis of the national costume the tree of life - a symbol of procreation. I wanted to emphasize the feminine principle and fertility. The burgundy color in the Belarusian tradition is considered a strong amulet, I believe in it. The costume is decorated with stones that will shine brightly under the stage soffits. The belt is made in a modern stylization of the Slutsk belt, and the brushes on it by the hands of masters are made with natural pearls, the contestant revealed the details.

The evening dress is made in red and gold. The outfit, created from the sketches of Margarita, is decorated with thousands of rhinestones and complemented by massive jewelry and a crown. Its weight is about 15 kg. “The dress is haute couture: it is entirely handmade. A huge number of crystals and stones in the image, the jewelry itself and the crown are the result of the painstaking daily work of masters. The golden color for me symbolizes the royal to become and the sacred energy, and the red – earthly love and victory, said Margarita Mascaliene.
