In Nevelskaya interdistrict hospital, a free medical bus began to operate, which connects the head institution with branches. The project was implemented within the framework of the national project "Long and active life", the Ministry of Health of the Pskov region reported.
The bus for 17 seats runs on a clear schedule and delivers patients from Usvyat, Pustoshka and Novosokolnikov to Nevel. This allows residents of remote settlements to get an appointment with narrow specialists who are not in local branches, for example, a surgeon, a lore, a neurologist or an optometrist.
As explained by the chief doctor of the Nevel interdistrict hospital Olesya Golubeva, patients are pre-registered for an appointment through the attending doctor of the branch. They board the bus with a referral to a narrow specialist or for research. In Nevel, the reception takes place without a queue and strictly in time: the doctor examines the patient, gives recommendations, after which the person returns to his doctor.
A resident of the village of Usvyaty Angelina Martynova noted that now it has become much easier to pass a medical examination and get to the right specialists.
