The Novgorod region and the North-West Cossack society have built a plan of work with young people. This was reported in his MAKS-channel Deputy Governor of the Novgorod region Elena Komarova following a meeting with the ataman of the North-Western military Cossack society Maxim Anatolyevich Buga.
At the meeting, they discussed how to make the traditions of the Cossacks understandable and close to modern youth, as well as the federal strategy for the development of the Cossacks - not on paper, but in the life of the region.
Following the meeting, agreements were reached on joint development of youth and educational programs. It is planned to integrate the best Cossack practices into the activities of the Yunarmia movement, as well as expand the range of joint projects in the sports, cultural and volunteer spheres.
The key goal of the joint work is to show the young Cossacks not only as part of the historical heritage, but also as a living system of values: responsibility, service to the region and mentoring, Elena Komarova noted.
