In the village Novinki introduced a quarantine for rabies — the corresponding decree of the Governor published on the portal of legal acts. The focus of infection was found on the territory of the house No. 19 on Studgorodok Street.

During the quarantine, residents are prohibited from importing and exporting animals susceptible to rabies, skinning and hunting. Fairs and trapping of animals for zoos were also banned.

The action plan for the elimination of the focus will be developed and approved by the veterinary committee of the Nizhny Novgorod region.
