In the Novosibirsk region in another district imposed restrictions because of bears
In the Northern municipal district of the Novosibirsk region introduced a high-alert regime due to the increased incidence of brown bears near settlements
The relevant resolution No. 1245 was adopted by the district administration on October 16, 2026.
According to the document, local residents are recommended to limit walking from 19:00 to 07:00. If possible, personal transport should be used during this time.
Special security measures are provided for minors. Children and adolescents are not allowed to be unaccompanied by adults on the streets, in public places, near forest belts and wastelands during these hours.
In the event of a bear appearing directly in the village, residents are urged not to approach the predator and immediately report the incident to the emergency services on 112.
Restrictions will be valid until a special order of the administration of the Northern municipal district.
Earlier, similar measures were introduced in the Kuibyshevsky district and the Station Village Council. The reason also became more frequent cases of bears entering residential areas.
