Renovated for 23 million Park Defenders of the Fatherland prepare a place under the fence

In Veliky Novgorod in the Square of Defenders of the Fatherland on the square of General Filimonenko, which was updated for 23.6 million rubles, preparations for landscaping began. It will be used for savings in the improvement of funds. This was reported by the press service of MKU “Urban economy”.

Now workers manually remove turf and mark areas for future plants. The next stage is the preparation of planting pits using a tractor. The old pedestrian path has already been removed: in its place, the lawn will be broken to make the space look more whole and green.

Spirea seedlings, which will decorate the place, will take five-year ones, with a closed root system. Such plants tolerate transplantation better, take root faster and already in the first spring give a noticeable decorative effect. In addition, the closed root system allows planting at almost any time of the year - even in unstable weather survival remains high. In total, it is planned to plant about two dozen bushes.
