Krasnodar Public Chamber discusses preparations for Civic Solidarity Forum

On the eve of the VII Forum of Public Associations “Civil Solidarity”, a series of working meetings was held in the Civic Chamber of Krasnodar. They were held by the Chairman of the Committee of the city Duma on work with charitable foundations, volunteer and humanitarian organizations Sergey Luzinov.

The day before, he discussed the plans with the chairman of the commission on youth policy, support for family, motherhood and childhood, volunteering and sports Igor Eremenko. Then Luzinov spoke at a meeting of the commission, where they talked about the topic of the discussion platform, which will be held on November 11 in the Youth House.

The discussion was based on the project under the motto: “Family is the basis of unity: Together stronger! Youth, family and volunteering in the multinational Krasnodar”.

According to the organizers, it is the family that should become the basic topic of conversation, and volunteerism, sports and the youth agenda will already be tied to it.

Luzinov stressed that the task of the meeting is to coordinate the work of deputies and members of the Public Chamber on important issues of the development of civil society. He also added that the prideum is ready to help initiatives if there are not enough legal mechanisms for their implementation.

“If social activists, working on the ground, see a certain lack of mechanisms to support their initiatives, the task of the authorities is to share a legal tool for their implementation,” he said. According to him, the result should be a resolution that will not remain on paper.

In the “Volunteering – Continuity of Good Deeds” block, Sergey Luzinov will speak as a speaker and share practical experience. He also noted that the City Duma is ready to support initiatives related to strengthening the family, volunteering and sports.

The program of the platform is divided into four semantic blocks: “Family is the basis of the unity of the country and the city”, “Volunteerism is the continuity of good deeds”, “Sport is the territory of friendship of peoples” and “Youth is the continuation of traditions”.

The organizers are waiting for about 100 participants, among them large families, representatives of national and cultural associations, coaches and volunteers. The mayor’s office and the Public Chamber expect that the forum will become a platform for specific decisions in support of the families of Krasnodar.

Recall, as previously wrote “MK in the Kuban”, in Krasnodar elected a new composition of the Public chamber of the region.
