In Odintsovo district stopped the theft of a car for 3 million

The communications department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Moscow region received information about the detention of a 53-year-old previously convicted resident of the Kabardino-Balkar Republic, suspected of attempting to steal a car worth about 3 million rubles. The department specified that the detention was carried out by officers of the patrol and postal service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Odintsovo city district.

According to police, the attacker in advance watched the car, which for a long time was motionless in one of the yards in the village of Nemchinovka. Through the damaged glass of the front door, he entered the cabin, removed the certification unit and photographed the identification number to make the key. When the key could not be made, the man decided to transport the car to a specialist in Kolomna, called the tow truck and presented the driver with copies of forged documents and a contract of sale. At the time when the special equipment was leaving, police officers patrolling the territory approached it.

In the GU MIA in the Moscow region reported that the owner of the car explained that no one sold it. The investigator opened a criminal case under Article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, the Odintsovo City Court elected the defendant a preventive measure in the form of detention. Measures are being taken to identify possible accomplices and other episodes.
