It is impossible to solve modern tasks of anti-terror alone – KGB
Six countries have conducted joint counter-terrorism operations. The KGB of Belarus stressed the importance of combat coordination of special forces of different countries.

Anti-terrorist exercises conducted jointly by the CIS and SCO countries provide an opportunity to practice coordinating the actions of special forces and improve their readiness for operations in real situations. This was reported to journalists by the First Deputy Chairman of the KGB of Belarus Sergey Terebov after the completion of the power part of the exercises “Eurasia-Anti-Terror-2026”, BelTA reports.
He stressed that a feature of the current exercises was the merger of two events previously held under the auspices of the SCO Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure and the CIS Anti-Terrorist Center. According to Terebov, the scenario of the exercises was as close to real conditions as possible.

“The scenario is based on a completely practical approach. So here we didn't come up with anything that fantastic or ephemeral. All this is based on the tactics of terrorists and the enemy, the first deputy chairman of the KGB said.
He noted the complexity of the final stage, which for the first time brought together six specialized units from different countries.
“It was necessary to carry out combat smoothing, combine training levels, overcome language barriers. I think we have succeeded, said Sergey Terebov.
He stressed the importance of cooperation between the CIS and SCO special services. Terrorist threats are of a cross-border nature. A terrorist attack can be designed in one country and executed in another.
“Therefore, we will not be able to solve modern anti-terrorism tasks alone here. The level of interaction is key for the success of solving problems, the First Deputy Chairman of the KGB emphasized.
During the exercise, various approaches to counter-terrorism operations were successfully integrated. Belarus is ready to share its best practices and experience with partners from the SCO RATS Executive Committee and CIS ATC.
“We are not trying to attack anyone. We are trying to build a counter-security based primarily on trust and joint interaction, a common understanding of the tasks that we solve, he said.
The participation of the six states in the joint exercises does not imply the creation of a new military alliance, but is aimed at strengthening the existing cooperation mechanisms.
“This is an attempt to strengthen what already exists through practice,” Sergey Terebov summed up.
