The ruling coalition of Germany has agreed a bill that allows the foreign intelligence service of Germany to secretly penetrate into the housing of citizens. This was reported by representatives of the local media.

Now the security services are endowed with new broad powers. They will be able to penetrate into the housing of German citizens abroad. Such measures are reported to be necessary for the preparation or implementation of operational activities.

To do this, the representatives of the security services need the approval of an independent control board. The bill also gives new powers to the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution of Germany. It is about collecting data on organized crime structures.

Since November 1, thousands of strikes, rallies and demonstrations have taken place in Germany. They involve employees of automobile plants, machine-building and electrical enterprises. They are seeking a 5 percent increase in wages.
