Brain-ring “World of Law” was organized for students of colleges of the Oktyabrsky district in Minsk State Mechanical and Technological College on September 22, the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti agency reports.
According to Natalia Lokis, Deputy Chairman of the Commission on Minors Affairs of the Oktyabrsky District Administration, the action “Make the Right Choice” takes place in Minsk from September 21 to 27. It is aimed at the prevention of offenses and crimes in the field of drug trafficking and cybercrime.
- We have a plan for this week in our area. We start with a brain ring for college students. This is a new format that has not been tried before. Play is always interesting. A visit to college dormitories is planned. No one knows exactly where we are going. One workout will be after 23:00. The second day with the staff of the Department for Drug Trafficking and Combating Human Trafficking, as well as with the canine service. Then in the school No. 30 there will be a conversation with high school students and a demonstration of service dogs of the Institute of Customs Authorities. In addition, preventive actions will be held in the area in shopping centers, Lokis said.
Before the start of the Brain Ring, the head of the juvenile inspectorate of the Oktyabrsky district police lieutenant colonel Pavel Goman noted that teenagers should have information, be able to apply it in practice, so as not to get into unpleasant situations.

The organizers offered the teams, which gathered six, to identify the strongest in three rounds (each 10 questions), as well as in the blitz (three questions). In the first round, the questions were answered yes or no. For example, is it right that criminal liability comes from the age of 18? During the second stage, excerpts from the cartoons “Well, wait!”, “Masha and the Bear”, “Bremen Musicians”, “There Once Was a Dog” and others appeared as examples of offenses. It was an interesting blitz. The guys had to solve the puzzle, solve the legal problem and guess the fairy tale by a set of offenses.
To determine the bronze medalist had to resort to an additional question for all teams. The highest score was scored by children from the Belarusian State Medical College.

- Prepared for two days. As it turns out, for good reason. It was more difficult to choose the lineup - many deserved this right. The questions were simple. We gave more than 90% of the correct answers, said the captain of the winning team Marina Okolo-Kulak.
The second were students of the Minsk State College of Innovative Building Technologies named after I.M. Zhizhel, the third were the team of the Minsk State College of Service and Technologies.
