In the Omsk region proposed to increase the total payment of residents for utilities by 19.8% from July 2027

In the Omsk region proposed to increase the total payment of residents for utilities by 19.8% from July 2027. The regional government sent a corresponding appeal to the head of the Federal Antimonopoly Service Maxim Shaskolsky. The document was published on the portal “Omsk province”.
As follows from the analytical note, without restrictions, the actual growth of the total utility payment in the second half of 2027 could be about 25.9%. The authorities attribute this to an increase in the cost of resource supplying organizations for electricity, fuel, depreciation of equipment and payments for negative impact on the environment.
However, it is proposed to set a limit index below this level - 19.8%. That is how much on average can increase the total cost of utilities. At the same time, we are not talking about the fact that each line in the receipt will necessarily rise by 19.8%. Tariffs for heating, water, electricity and other resources can vary in different ways. The index limits the growth of the total amount of utility payments for residents.
The appeal was signed by Acting Governor of the Omsk region Dmitry Ushakov. The executor of the document is the Chairman of the Regional Energy Commission Dmitry Russian.
A final decision on the index for 2027 has not yet been made. Earlier, the Omsk region proposed to increase the total fee in the second half of 2026 by 26.8%, but the federal government approved for the region a much smaller figure of 13%.
