In Orel, the Prosecutor’s office began checking after the collapse of the ceiling in a residential building

In Orel, the regional prosecutor's office organized an inspection on the fact of a communal accident in the house No. 5/9 on Sunday Lane. The incident happened yesterday, October 8.

According to the press service of the supervisory authority, there was a flood in the building. Because of this, in one of the apartments there was a partial collapse of plaster from the ceiling. In relation to the management company, an inspection began to find out why the house was not properly maintained.

“A legal assessment will be given to the actions (inaction) of the management company, persons responsible for the proper maintenance of the common property of an apartment building,” the prosecutor’s office said.

The issue of restoring the rights of residents and eliminating the consequences of the accident was taken over by the regional prosecutor Alexei Tymoshin.
