In Oryol colony No. 3 held a spiritual and educational conversation

Clergyman Vladimir Naumov met with convicts of KP-3 UFSIN of Russia in the Orel region. The meeting was timed to two important dates: the feast of the Nativity of the Most Holy Mother of God and the anniversary of the Battle of Kulikovo.

According to the press service of the Federal Penitentiary Service, Father Vladimir told the audience about the history of the Orthodox holiday and the significance of the victory of Russian troops led by Prince Dmitry Donskoy. The priest recalled that the Grand Duke was canonized by the Russian Orthodox Church as a saint for his merits and faith.

After the main part of the event, the convicts were able to ask the priest personal questions, discuss difficulties and receive spiritual support.

According to Priest Vladimir Naumov, such meetings help convicts to strengthen moral guidelines, join the history of the country and better prepare for their return to society. Such conversations contribute to the education of mercy, mutual respect and responsibility.
