In the Orel region, a resident of the Kromsky district appealed to the police. She found 28,000 rubles missing from her bank account.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, during the investigation, law enforcement officers identified a suspect - a 23-year-old resident of the Eagle. It turned out that the attacker knew a relative of the victim. Earlier, the girl herself gave him access to her account: she asked the young man to help with the transfer of money, dictating codes from SMS to link her number to his application.

Taking advantage of the trust, the guy did not delete the banking application after fulfilling a one-time request. For two weeks, he secretly paid for his purchases and withdrew cash from someone else’s card.

A criminal case was initiated against the suspect under Part 3 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. He is currently under a no-departure order.
