In the Orel region will condemn the courier of telephone fraudsters from Rostov

In Orel completed the investigation of the criminal case against a 20-year-old resident of the Rostov region. He is accused of attempted fraud on an especially large scale.

According to the press service of the Prosecutor’s office, the young man worked as a courier for telephone scammers. In July of this year, accomplices called a resident of the Sverdlovsk district of Orlovshchyna and convinced her to withdraw 1.2 million rubles from the account, allegedly for some examination.

When the accused came to the woman for money, he was red-handedly detained by police officers. Now the case materials have been transferred to the Sverdlovsk District Court. Criminal prosecution of his accomplices continues in separate proceedings.
