In the Orel region this year began the improvement of five public spaces

In 2026, the improvement of five public spaces-winners of the X All-Russian competition of the best projects for creating a comfortable urban environment began in the Orel region.

As told in the press service of the regional government, these are: “Turgenevskaya Square” in Mtsensk; “Victory Park” in Maloarchangelsk; “Hunters halt” in Kolpna; “Leskov posad” in Krom and “To the origins” in the village of Kryvtsovo-Plot.

Also, the improvement of the winning projects of the IX competition of the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation continues.

Three municipalities – historical settlements – won and received a grant for the implementation of projects in the amount of 72.5 million rubles each: “Zarubin’s Route: along the streets of childhood” in Moscow. Pokrovskoye, Pokrov district; "Flower Square" in the village of Nikolskoe, Dolzhan district and "Park that saw Fet and Turgenev." Revival of the estate" in the village of Volkovo, Mtsensky district. Municipalities are currently working on project estimates.
