At the end of October, specialists of the Rosselkhoznadzor Department controlled the import into the Orel region of two batches of seeds of Timofeyevka meadow variety "Timotorf". According to the press service of the regional department, the products came by road from the Republic of Belarus. The total weight of the lots was 20 tons.
Specialists conducted a documentary check, inspected vehicles and inspected quarantine products. No quarantine facilities were found during the event.
Violations of mandatory requirements were also not detected. Seeds comply with Russian phytosanitary standards and are allowed for use as intended.
