The basis of the Strategy of youth policy of the SG laid patriotic education – Union parliamentarian in Mogilev

The strategy of youth policy of the Union State is based on work with young people and patriotic education. This today, October 8, said the Deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Artem Turov at the opening of the youth forum of the Union State “Memory”. Choice. Within the framework of the parliamentary meeting, a commission has been created to protect historical truth, and work has also begun on the Union State youth policy strategy, which has already been approved by the prime ministers and sent for signature to the presidents, State Duma deputy Artem Turov said:

- In the document, one of the central lines is working with young people and patriotic education, which is a cornerstone for our future, because without this, the patriotic development of sovereign states is impossible. The strategy represents a set of activities. It lays down the vectors and directions of work that will become fundamental for the next five years.

Artem Turov noted that the Strategy is supported by a roadmap of events within the framework of the youth policy of the two countries. It is already in force and is constantly updated, because even in a short period of time, states face various challenges and threats, both external and internal.

The Union parliamentarian also emphasized the importance of the youth forum for patriotic education of youth:

- Without knowledge of history, any country is doomed to oblivion, and for us a vivid example is what happens to some former Soviet republics. We see that the history, culture and traditional values of the people close and dear to us have been replaced in Ukraine. In the Baltic states, war criminals and collaborators are celebrated as heroes. This is a big hybrid war, which is primarily aimed at young people, because it is the future of Russia and Belarus.

- Therefore, it is important for us to preserve historical memory, to talk about real heroes and the events that took place in those distant years, to tell the truth. Historical truth is the basis of patriotism and the tasks set before us by the leaders of the state. In turn, the allied parliamentarians are doing everything possible to take place as many events to preserve historical memory with the participation of young people. This is necessary in order to fight fakes and involve as many young people as possible in this work.
