In the House of Representatives introduced a bill on labor protection

The Government submitted to the House of Representatives a draft law “On Amendments to the Law of the Republic of Belarus “On Labor Protection”. This correspondent sb.by reported in the press service of the House of Representatives.

The bill provides for a new version of the current law.

The proposed amendments are aimed at improving the mechanisms for ensuring the safety of life and health of workers in the process of their work and provide for:

- Improving the efficiency of public administration in the field of labor protection at all levels, including further development of the preventive focus of work to ensure the safety of workers;

- Increasing employment opportunities for women and minors while creating safe working conditions for them and the absence of contraindications for health;

- Improvement of labor protection management processes in organizations based on the assessment of occupational risks; expansion of the rights of the employer and guarantees of the employee in the field of labor protection;

- Reducing the administrative burden on business.
