In the Park named after Stepanov continues improvement, timed to his centenary

Behind them are clearing forest plantations from dangerous trees, partial replacement of lighting fixtures and checking the power grid.

Currently, work is underway related to the large-scale reconstruction of the entrance group, including asphalting of the main boulevard, laying of the tile coating and updating the stele. As the director of the park Yuri Serkov notes, these works are extremely important because serious renovations have not been carried out in the park for a long time.

Now the workers are busy overhauling the entrance group. Since this is a cultural heritage site, the work is carried out with extreme caution, and its completion is scheduled for the end of November. It is possible that they will be completed earlier, so as not to interfere with weather conditions.

Ivanov Mayor Maxim Komissarov, who inspected the work, announced the appearance of CCTV cameras in the park area, which will make the park safe at any time of the day.

Next year, phased transformations will continue, with a possible expansion of the work area towards the embankment. A priority will be the renewal of the stage platform for city events.
