In the Penza district, a teenager without rights shot down a pedestrian to death

In the Penza district, a criminal case was opened about a road accident in which a pedestrian died. The defendant was a 16-year-old local resident.

Zarechensky Interdistrict Investigation Department of the Regional Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia opened a case under paragraph "c" of part 4 of Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. We are talking about a violation of traffic rules, which resulted in the death of a person by negligence, and committed by a person without the right to drive.

According to the investigation, in the evening of October 10, 2026 on the highway Nizhny Novgorod – Saratov within the boundaries of the Penza district, a teenager driving a car knocked down a pedestrian born in 2008. From his injuries, the victim died in an ambulance.
