The regional center for the development of education in the field of culture and art is actively engaged in professional development of specialists. This process has become an important tool for unlocking the creative potential of employees and improving the quality of their activities.
Since the beginning of 2026, sixteen groups of students have been trained under the guidance of Larisa Karpova, Honored Worker of Culture of the Penza Region and the head of the center. The programs included such topics as "Statistics and data processing in organizations of additional education in the field of culture", "Fundamentals of digital culture", "Modern technologies of social and cultural activities", "Pushkin map", "Grant design", "Content school", "Models of training persons with disabilities", "Creative industries", "New information technologies in library services", "Business communications" and methods of teaching various disciplines – musical and theoretical, playing folk instruments, piano, vocal and choral and visual arts.
Classes were held in various formats and durations, from short intensives to full-fledged courses. They were attended by over 55 lecturers and experts, including distinguished cultural figures, PhDs in education, creative sector specialists, and experienced practitioners.
During this time, 497 people, including managers, teachers of additional education, employees of libraries and cultural and leisure institutions of the Penza region, were trained. By the end of 2026, it is planned to conduct seven more programs and refresher courses.
