In the Penza region put in order five military graves

The results of the work on the preservation of military graves in the Penza region were summed up. The events were held with the support of the Governor Oleg Melnichenko in the framework of the federal project “Preservation of cultural and historical heritage” of the state program “Culture Development”.

Five municipalities of the region received subsidies: Penza, Belinsky, Kamenka, Pominayevka village of Bashmakovsky district and Treskino village of Kolyshley district.

All planned work was completed on time, the facilities were brought to proper condition. Contracting organizations have equipped the territories and repaired memorial elements.

Representatives of the Ministry of Housing and Utilities of the Penza region noted that systemic coordination at the regional level was a key success factor. The work was carried out with the direct attention and support of the Governor Oleg Melnichenko. The cooperation between regional departments and municipalities allowed to achieve high-quality results at each site.

The further maintenance of memorials and their maintenance in order is entrusted to local governments.
