In St. Petersburg today, October 9, the inspection of the regional warning system began. From 10:40, citizens heard loud sirens that will sound until 11:00.

During the check, from 10:40 to 10:43, a warning signal was sent “Attention to everyone!”. Then from 10:43 to 10:44 the information will be transmitted by radio and TV channels. And from 10:45 to 10:46, there will be a voice message saying that there is a check.

During the inspection, specialists will assess the serviceability of all technical means of notification and communication channels. Residents were asked to remain calm.
