In the Moscow region, the fight against the illegal sale of alcohol near socially significant facilities continues. Since the beginning of 2026, inspectors of the Ministry of Agriculture of the region identified more than 160 violations, and almost 8 thousand bottles of alcoholic beverages were seized from circulation.
According to the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Moscow Region Vitaly Mosin, the main task of the department is to prevent the illegal trade of alcohol near schools, social institutions and in the courtyards of residential buildings. According to him, experts not only check outlets and take measures against violators, but also explain existing requirements to entrepreneurs in advance.
The region has uniform rules for the sale of alcohol. In particular, the sale of alcohol within 100 meters from educational institutions is prohibited. Near clinics and hospitals, the permissible distance is from 15 to 70 meters. Also, it is impossible to sell alcohol in the courtyards of apartment buildings - an exception is made only for shops in annexes to the MKD and points, the entrance to which is located from the street no further than 30 meters from the roadway. In addition, the sale of alcohol is prohibited in stalls and kiosks.
For serious violations, entrepreneurs face suspension or cancellation of the license. At the moment, three cancellation cases have already been sent to arbitration courts, two more licenses have been suspended.
