In the suburbs started the season of winter maintenance of regional roads
In the Moscow region started the season of winter maintenance. More than 2,000 road workers will be involved to ensure safe and uninterrupted movement of transport and pedestrians on regional roads.
According to the Minister of Transport of the Moscow region Marat Sibatulin, by the winter season, Mosavtodor specialists have prepared more than 2.1 thousand units of specialized equipment. In addition, specialized sites have already been identified for snow storage in 27 districts.
To remove snow and fight ice prepared:
- about 680 combined road cars and motor graders;
more than 350 tractors and mini loaders for cleaning sidewalks and pedestrian areas;
- more than 650 units of attachments and additional equipment;
- about 650 thousand tons of anti-icing materials.
Road services will work around the clock: monitor weather changes, clean the roadway and pedestrian areas from snow, as well as conduct de-icing treatment.
