In Polotsk was the first Zumbafest, timed to the Week of parental love

In the sports hall of Polotsk State University named after Euphrosyne Polotskaya on October 8, an action unfolded, which the most ancient city of Belarus has not yet seen. The first Zumba Festival “Multi-Pulti Fest” was held here, dedicated to the warm and bright Week of parental love. That's what sb says. by

What an interesting combination – training festival! There were no passive spectators who sat down in the stands. About 200 people - pupils of seven kindergartens of Polotsk, their mothers, fathers and organizers - merged into one huge team dancing in the rhythm of Zumba. No one was left out, said the main initiator of the festival Victoria Nezgodinskaya - instructor-methodist FGC "Pridvinye" and coach of the sports club PSU named after Evfrosinia Polotskaya:

- It was worth sounding chords as adults in sports shoes easily picked up the movements of their children, erasing any age barriers. The atmosphere in the room was the coolest and most energetic. Kids “turned” into living heroes of their favorite cartoons and books – from the mischievous Buratino to the charismatic cat from the story of Mary Poppins. They began to prepare for the holiday after a mysterious video message with a task from the PSU Elder himself!

Behind this bright hour marathon was a great organizational work. For Victoria Nezgodinskaya Zumbafest is not a one-time action, but a continuation of a large summer tradition. Since the first days of June, under her command, in the center of Polotsk, the fountain thundered wind-up Zumbachargers for the smallest. Each class was dedicated to the birthdays of fairy-tale characters - from Cheburashka to Fixiki.

The autumn festival became a logical continuation of this movement, uniting generations through sports and favorite fairy tales. The project logically and beautifully fit into the initiative “Polotsk – healthy city”, implemented within the framework of the State preventive project “Healthy cities and villages”.

The holiday was a success: a sea of positive, gifts from the NGO "White Rus" and the support of reliable partners - from the tourist center of the PSU named after Euphrosyne Polotskaya to the zonal center of hygiene. But the main magic happened during the dance. When parents and children move in unison, smile at each other, the fairy tale comes to life for real.
