The registry office of the Arkhangelsk region reminded about the rules of registration of marks in the passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation and the terms of its validity

The registry office of the Arkhangelsk region reminded about the rules of registration of marks in the passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation and the terms of its validity.
- Since 2021, stamps on the conclusion and dissolution of marriage are put in the passports of citizens of the Russian Federation at the request of the applicants (previously stamps were mandatory), said the head of the department Irina Andreecheva. If the applicant refuses to put a stamp on the conclusion (dissolution) of marriage, information about his marital status can be confirmed on the basis of information from the Unified State Register of Civil Status Records.
The absence of a mark on marriage or its dissolution does not affect the legal status of a citizen: a legally significant document is the entry of an act of civil status in the register. Thanks to interdepartmental electronic interaction, government agencies receive reliable information directly from the USR registry office - this concerns the registration of benefits, subsidies and other support measures.
At the request of a citizen in the passport also put marks on children (citizens of the Russian Federation under 14 years), on previously issued passports, issued valid basic identity documents outside the territory of the Russian Federation, on blood group and Rh factor, TIN.
It is important to consider the validity of the passport when reaching a certain age. A passport subject to replacement in connection with reaching 20 or 45 years of age remains valid until a new document is issued, but not more than 90 days after the appropriate age. This allows you to undergo the replacement procedure in a timely manner without the risk of being with an invalid document.
