In the village of Druzhnaya Gorka, cases of wolves reaching people were repeated. Because of this, it was decided to regulate the number of animals on the site. This was reported in the press service of the Committee on animal world of the Leningrad region.

In October, two individuals were caught, and another wolf was shot as part of amateur and sports hunting. Despite this, the extraction of animals in the village of Druzhnaya Gorka will continue — however, it will take additional time.

Residents were reminded that pets should not be released for self-driving, especially at night. If a wolf is found, it should be reported to the committee immediately.

In the village of Friendly Gorka, Gatchina district, a wolf earlier attacked a domestic dog. The predator grabbed the dog with his teeth and dragged him away in front of the hostess. The dog wasn't saved. On October 23, a 40-year-old math teacher killed a 58-year-old woman and her young grandson in the same village.
