In the village of Peace foothill district complete the observation deck

The head of the Podgorny district, Nikolai Bondarenko, together with the head of the territorial department of the village of Mirny, checked the completion of the arrangement of the observation deck with places for rest.

The project is implemented under the program to support local initiatives. This year, there are five facilities in the area. The main feature of the program is that the direction of expenditure is determined by the residents themselves. Funding comes from regional and local budgets and extrabudgetary sources.

“Since the beginning of the program, 76 projects have been implemented in the district, and the pace is not going to decrease,” Bondarenko said.

The head of the district noted that such objects improve the appearance of territories and become points of attraction. In 2025, six improvement projects were completed under the program.
