In Elbrus on the basis of Kabardino-Balkar State University opened Balkar Saklyu

In the Elbrus educational and scientific complex of the Kabardino-Balkar State University named after H. M. Berbekov, a traditional Balkar saklya was opened.

The project of its construction was launched by the university leadership after visiting the family estate of the people’s poet Kabardino-Balkaria Kaisyn Kuliev in the village of El-Tyubyu. The object was built according to the ancient traditions of Balkar architecture. The press service noted that natural materials were used during the construction - stone, wood and soil.

Saklya will become part of the educational process of KBSU. Here they plan to open a permanent exhibition reflecting the life and architecture of the mountaineers.

Earlier it was reported that the restoration of Stalin’s dacha was completed in the capital of the CBD.
