In Kudymkar completed the investigation of the criminal case against a 22-year-old resident of Yekaterinburg. The young man is accused of fraud on an especially large scale, according to the GU of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Perm Territory.

Law enforcement officers found that in June, the home phone of an 85-year-old resident of Kudymkar received a call from an unknown person. She called herself an employee of the clinic and under the pretext of recording for fluorography lured the pensioner’s passport data.

The next day, another girl called, allegedly an employee of the military prosecutor’s office, and said that the personal data of the elderly woman was obtained by intruders, and those on her behalf transfer funds to an unfriendly country by proxy.

Then a resident of Kudymkar called imaginary lawyer and law enforcement officer. They convinced the pensioner to transfer all savings to a so-called safe account. According to their instructions, the woman had to hand over her money to the courier for their further “check”.

For the first time, the girl came to the victim and received 1 million rubles, the courier at the next meeting, the pensioner handed over 700 thousand rubles. The second courier was subsequently detained by police. It was established that the resident of Yekaterinburg acted on the instructions of the curators. He served as a courier for a monetary reward, took money from victims, and then transferred or transferred it to unidentified organizers of the criminal group.

During the preliminary investigation, the damage in the amount of 700 thousand rubles was compensated by the victim.

The criminal case has now been referred to the court. The criminal case on the theft of 1,050,000 rubles was allocated to a separate proceeding.
