In the Pskov region, a foreigner will be expelled from the country for illegal border crossing

Employees of the Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Pskov region within the framework of Operation Illegal-2026 conducted measures against a foreign citizen who committed an intentional crime in Russia. About this "MK in Pskov" reported in the press service of the regional MIA.

It was established that the 43-year-old man illegally crossed the state border in the territory of the Usvyatsky municipal district. He was detained by officers of the Border Department of the FSB of Russia in the Pskov region.

The foreigner was convicted under Part 1 of Art. 322 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Illegal crossing of the state border”) and fined 50 thousand rubles.

The police began the readmission procedure: the man was forcibly placed in the Center for Temporary Detention of Foreign Citizens for subsequent expulsion from the country with a ban on entry.
