This Saturday in Pitalovo will be held the V festival "Cranberry Festival". The event will unfold on the site in front of the House of Culture, the grand opening is scheduled for 12:00. As reported by “MK in Pskov” in the Ministry of culture of the Pskov region, the focus of the holiday will be cranberries – she will become the main hero of the day.

The program is designed for guests of all ages. One of the brightest events will be a gastronomic competition: it will be attended by both professional chefs and home cooks. All dishes will include cranberries – guests will be able to learn the secrets of cooking, see presentations and participate in tasting: from classic fruit drinks to original desserts and hot dishes.

Another unusual competition is the Cranberry Shoe contest. Participants will have to creatively design rubber shoes: the work can be both individual and collective, there are no age restrictions.

For visitors, an exhibition-sale, a series of master classes and a concert program with performances of creative groups are also organized. The atmosphere will be complemented by a literary cranberry living room: guests will be presented with lines from the works of famous poets and writers dedicated to cranberries.
