In Raskazovo, the courier of telephone fraudsters cheated the pensioner on 4.5 million rubles

Rasskazovsk interdistrict prosecutor's office sent to the district court a criminal case against a 24-year-old resident of the Kirov region. She is accused of fraud on an especially large scale.

According to the investigation, in late July, the accused agreed with two unidentified accomplices to steal money from citizens. In this scheme, she was assigned the role of courier.

Attackers called and corresponded with the victim, posing as law enforcement officers. They gave the 65-year-old woman false information that she was suspected of a crime. In early August, the pensioner was persuaded to hand over the money, allegedly for not being prosecuted. As a result, the woman lost her savings in the amount of more than 4.5 million rubles.

After the presentation of the indictment, the case was sent to the Rasskazovsky District Court for consideration on the merits.
